Steek without eek!
During this class attendees will convert the provided homework into a useful mug cosy. we will discuss which yarns are better for steeking and whether it is necessary or not to reinforce our steeks. We look at different methods of doing reinforcements and finally do the dreaded cut!
Samples of different reinforcement methods will be available for viewing.
Attendees will need to bring along a pair of 3mm dpns (or equivalent preferred needles) their homework and a basic sewing kit which includes a darning needle and sharp scissors. The homework will consist of a simple two-colour Fairisle knit which will use two colours of a suitable yarn.
As this is a guest workshop no refunds will be given unless someone can be found to take your place. In the case of non-attendance the full course fee will be retained.
