Learn to Knit Socks Day - 10.30-3.30 Saturday 8th February

Ever wanted to knit your own socks but always thought it would be too hard? 

Come along to my Learn to Knit Socks Day where I'll get you started with the basics of knitting in the round, understanding a sock pattern, turning the heel and grafting the toe. 

I will also show you some other potential sock knitting styles and techniques

You will be provided with DK sock yarn, double pointed knitting needles and a beginner‘s pattern along with tuition and advice from me and copious amounts of tea, coffee and biscuits to help you along! 

You can bring a packed lunch or treat yourself to something delicious from Carmichaels next door.

• purl 

the ability to knit in the round is not essential but would be preferable  

If you need to cancel in advance and advise me at least 48 hours before then 50% of your course fee will be refunded.  In the case of non-attendance the full course fee will be retained.
