Brief overview of the day - we will start to stitch into signatures that will be constructed into a mini paper book that will fit in a tin. You may not complete the whole book in 1 day but will have everything needed to continue to work on your book in your own time. We will cover a range of techniques and stitches and Anne with give you lots of inspiration for you to carry on working on your book.

Paper piercing tool / awl
Mats to work on top of
Range of papers (wrapping paper, paper bags, paper ephemera etc) Wadding
Hole punch Threads Fabric scraps Hand sewing kit
Glue stick & Scissors Craft knife and cutting mats
Buttons, hooks and eyes, press studs
Extra paper to use ( I use 300gms watercolour paper)

You will need (but Anne will have lots for you to use as well) NOTE - it is a small book so you don’t need vast amounts of items

Paper piercing tool / awl if you have one
Bone folder if you have one, but the handle on a pair of scissors works too Paper scissors
Glue stick
Range of papers (wrapping paper, paper bags, paper ephemera etc) Hand sewing kit & threads

Feel free to bring your own tin if you wish, but we will have to spend a bit of time at the start of the workshop cutting your signatures.
