Locket's Year of Little Cotton Rabbits - Mama Bear

Welcome to Locket's Year of Little Cotton Rabbits 

For October we have a lovely pair of bears! 

And in my upside down land of Lucy Locket Land our bears are being a little unconventional:  Mama Bear is a beautiful brown bear and is busy stocking her store cupboard for winter - but you won't find any honey in there! Big Yuck! Mama Bear hates honey but she absolutely adores making jams, chutneys and other preserves and is never happier than when she is out foraging or busy at her kitchen stove.

The yarn we will be using this month is a lovely 100% responsibly sourced Merino DK from World of Wool in Yorkshire (hand wash only) and you will receive 1 x 50g ball of the main colour plus a small quantity of a lighter shade if you wish to knit a contrast shade for her nose

The yarn for her clothes will be my hand dyed 10g mini skeins of Merino/Nylon 4ply
