Locket's Year of Little Cotton Rabbits - Eric the Shetland Sheep

Welcome to Locket's Year of Little Cotton Rabbits 

For September, in honour of Shetland Wool Week, our wonderful woolly friends are a pair of charming Shetland Sheep from Julie’s fabulous Sheep in a Sweater and Sheep in a Dress patterns

In my upside down land of Lucy Locket our Sheep are hardworking crofters and, in true Shetland style, have secondary jobs too with Hazel busily knitting and designing while also holding the title of World’s Fastest Knitting Sheep (and yes, I did ask the amazing Hazel Tindall for permission to name my sheep after her!) 

Meanwhile Eric is famed for his fiddle playing and is also sought after for his fabulous storytelling skills with his Trowie* tales keeping his listeners enchanted (*troublesome Shetland trolls) 

Obviously these special sheep are knitted entirely in Shetland wool with Jamieson’s Spindrift (held double to make DK) for their bodies and hand dyed 4ply for their clothes. Special extra accessories and pure wool stuffing are also included in the kit 

But the full details are a surprise!!
