Locket's Lakeland Hot Water Bottle Cover Kit

I'm delighted to launch my brand new design which was inspired by the beautiful colours in the Lake District landscape from my holiday and my favourite Herdwick sheep

The colour work on the main body of the hot water bottle has been created to look like an impressionistic view of the landscape with the shades subtly blending and changing. At the top I have changed to more stylised colour work to create the sheep and hills.

The colours are deliberately muted so I used duplicate stitch to work the sheep faces to help them stand out more. If you would prefer a stronger contrast there is the option to choose Natural White instead of the softer toned Eesit/White that I used.

The hot water bottle cover is knitted in the round from the bottom up and uses the brilliant Turkish cast on for an invisible start.  I recommend a long 2.5mm circular or 2 shorter circular needles held parallel
