Who can resist picking a dandelion once it has turned into a ball of fluff? There's something so fun and innocent in blowing it ́s delicate seeds into the air while making a wish. Maybe only the avid gardener will complain when they see this cheerful flower appear on their well-kept grass! As a child it was always a delight to pick these puffballs and see how many blows it took to disperse all the dandelion fairies into the sky. Dandelions are well known for being able to grow in difficult conditions, even happily appearing amongst the cracks of the pavement. It is believed that this flower symbolizes the ability to rise above life ́s challenges. And so, I wanted to create some socks inspired by those delicate looking, but strong flowers so the wearer could make wishes every time they pull on their warm socks. 100g hand dyed 75% Blue Faced Leicester / 25% nylon 4 ply sock yarn
20g hand dyed green BFL/nylon
20g undyed/white BFL/nylon
