Autumn Tam kit

My latest Fair Isle kit is for the Autumn Tam by Sandy Blue in 10 glorious shades of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift! 

I never normally work with this many colours and it is so exciting seeing all the subtle shifts and the way the shades sing with each other. 

These are a bit more expensive than my usual Fair Isle sets because of the amount of yarn, but I think they’ll be really good value as you will have lots of yummy yarn left for new projects and maybe even another Tam - I’m recording quantities used with mine - but the enjoyment you’ll get from exploring these colours will be worth every penny!! 

I’ve loved this pattern for a while and coincidentally it was the first Fair Isle hat I saw when I arrived for @shetlandwoolweek this year - spotted on a lovely lady in Tesco who I immediately accosted to admire and photograph her hat! 😊
