Welcome to Locket's Year of Little Cotton Rabbits
For May we have a special duo of Moles who would like you to know that they are very fond of grass, thank you very much, and DO NOT approve of the naughty members of their clan who create all those messy molehills!!!
However they do have a rather awkward and conflicting relationship with each other ……
Mr Mole (Stan to his friends - and he has many) is the grounds man at the local cricket club and a keen part time cricketer who loves it when he gets subbed into the match. He is obsessed with keeping the grass in perfect condition for the team.
Meanwhile his friend and neighbour Helen is also obsessed with the state of the cricket field but for a very different and conflicting reason. She is a Professor of Botany and is most often found in the grass searching for rare species of orchid and funghi. She has special cones that she sets out on the pitch to protect certain areas which causes problems with the fielders (and Stan!) during the match - but she is resolute!
This kit for Stan includes the Mole in a Jumper and my own additional pattern
The yarn for his body is UK ALPACA Speckledy Blue DK 75% Superfine Alpaca/25% Wool (this is a change to the original listing due to supply issues)
There are my hand dyed mini skeins for his outfit plus some extra accessories and pure wool stuffing.
But the full details are a surprise!!
