Being a 9-5 worker I miss a lot of craft groups as they held during the day and being a knitter without a social network of knitting friends can be lonely. So Lucy's evening Craft and Chat group was right up my street. Lucy is a lovely lady, very friendly and very welcoming. The meet up was held in Lucy's home with plenty of tea, coffee and homemade biscuits to go around. My fellow crafters were equally friendly and I had an immensely enjoyable night that I can't wait to repeat.
I popped along to Lucys knit and chat and I knew I'd got the right house when I saw a pom pom 'welcome'wreath on the front door. Lucy made us all so welcome and supplied us with lots of tea, cake and advice with our projects/knitting. It was lovely to meet other like minded people and I can't wait for next time. Jan
Lucy is very warm and friendly I found the craft group to be a great source of knowledge and everyone is more than happy to help should you get stuck or want to know how to do something. There is plenty of tea and coffee and penny's home made cakes are yummy my favourite is her spiced apple blonde. All in all a very pleasent and friendly place to be can't wait for the next one xx. I would also say that I will at some point be attending a lesson. The wool she uses for her lessons is beautiful and well worth the fee. Keep up the good work Lucy. Janet
warm welcome from such a happy go lucky lady who had an uphill task of
teaching me to crochet. Lucy had such patience and encouragement with me who
is more used to two needles not just one with a hook at the end.
Lucy is passionate about her crafts and we had the opportunity of seeing some
amazing examples of fair isle knitting. Oh yes and the coffee and cake just
delicious and in such a relaxed environment. Good luck in your new venture Lucy. Linda
